The Town Hall Grill

I was craving wings, I was not disappointed! The food was great! Our server Franklin was very patient with our questions while placing our orders. The manager was very pleasant as he checked on each table. We will be back!

Whenever we visit Chapel Hill, we always make a point to stop at Town Hall Grill—it’s one of our favorite spots. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the patio is the perfect place to unwind, especially with a nice glass (or two) of wine in hand. The staff is friendly, and the menu has something for everyone. I’m a big fan of salmon, so the Pesto Salmon was on my list to try. It was perfectly cooked, with flavorful pesto -- everything tasted fresh. I recommend!

Great experience! Food was amazing. They gave us the closest table to the green pavilion, we were serenaded by the NC symphony while eating, and Franklin did an amazing job taking care of us and everyone around on a VERY busy evening. Highly recommend!

I cannot thank Town Hall Grill and their incredible manager, Jesse, enough for coming through for us in a huge way. I am a wedding planner based in Raleigh and had a couple getting married in Chapel Hill on a busy weekend. The restaurant our couple originally booked for their rehearsal dinner unexpectedly canceled due to a power outage. Needless to say, our couple was stressed! Jesse and the team at Town Hall Grill didn’t just step in—they went above and beyond. With almost no notice, they accommodated their party of 30 with absolute grace, professionalism, and genuine kindness. Jesse was a calming presence during a chaotic time and worked with us to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Within an hour she had transformed the upstairs space for a private dining experience with a curated menu. What stood out the most was their flexibility and willingness to help during what could have been a stressful evening! Thank you, Town Hall Grill—and a special thank you to Jesse—for saving the day and making our couple's rehearsal dinner truly special.

I got the chopped salad. It was very good. You can add a protein but I didn’t on this trip. My wife got the burger with added cheese and chili. The food is great. TV!s to watch sports. Clean area. Pour your own drink and get refills. Prices are a little more but a couple dollars is not much of a difference. You get enough to fill yourself up. Plus the food is freshly made.

We moved to Southern Village a year ago and have been waiting for Town Hall Grill to reopen. We were not disappointed. I got the special cold sesame noodle bowl and my husband got the fish tacos. Both were wonderful as were our desserts.

this was my second time at this restaurant and I was just as impressed as i was on my first visit! the hostesses were super nice and welcoming, and our server (i believe his name is ryan) was absolutely amazing! he was helpful, nice, and overall just a perfect server and obviously a hard worker. my boyfriend and i both got burgers and they were delicious, i will definitely be back for the food and the service!

It was perfectly cooked with a lovely seasoning blend. I also tried the Town Hall Burger, and wow — juicy, flavorful, and cooked just the way I like it. The fries were golden and crispy, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. The menu offers a nice balance of classic American favorites with some creative touches. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and service, and the food came out surprisingly fast.
